Hi Friends and Colleagues,  

We're doing a FeelGood fundraiser to support Pieta.

This last year has been like no other in living memory, and nothing is as it  was when we held  our Annual PIGs Dinner just  12 months ago  where we raised a significant  donation for our chosen Charity in 2020. 

Life under lockdown and with restrictions has  brought some relief and a slower pace of life for some. But for many others, the  last year has  had a detrimental effect on their mental health and their ability to deal with the daily life struggles that have not disappeared with COVID restrictions and the ones that have appeared. 

The PIGs Committee have decided to undertake a fund raising event  to support our Chairmans chosen charity, Pieta house. The Event is  called PIGs & Friends, the Measured Mile. We aim, with the help and support of our friends and colleagues, to cover  a distance of 569km, which is the shortest distance by road from Malin head to Mizen head, within our 5km, during the month of March.

FeelGood with Pieta is about taking small steps towards better mental health, while also raising the funds that Pieta need to keep their doors open and services free, for everyone. They provide therapeutic counseling services to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.
